Honors Brittany Lawson for being named Junior Competitor Grand Champion in Karate at the 2012 Irish Cup and short weapon forms champion at the 2012 USA National Karate-do Federation Championship

At the 2012 Irish Cup, Lawson earned one gold medal in weapon forms and three silver medals in forms, fighting, and junior team fighting to win the overall junior competitor division title

At the USANKF Championship, Lawson earned a gold medal in short weapon forms and bronze medals in forms and fighting events

Recognizes Lawson as a student of Doug Yates Karate School who has demonstrated exceptional talent, competitive spirit, sportsmanship, dedication, self-discipline, and leadership

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Brittany Lawson
