Recognizes December 1, 2012, as World AIDS Day in Ohio's 129th General Assembly.

Notes that more than 25 million people worldwide died from HIV/AIDS between 1981 and 2007, with over one million people living with HIV in the United States and approximately 50,000 new infections per year.

States that Ohio ranks fourteenth among the fifty states with 17,129 AIDS cases reported through 2008.

Encourages Ohioans to participate in local World AIDS Day events to raise awareness and support those affected by the disease.

Directs the Clerk of the House to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media.
