Honors A. Malachi Mixon III as an inductee of the 2012 James A. Garfield Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County.

Recognizes Mixon as a decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and chairman of the Invacare Corporation and Cleveland Institute of Music boards.

Acknowledges his service as a member of The Sherwin-Williams Company and Park-Ohio Holdings Corporation boards, chairman emeritus of The Cleveland Clinic Foundation boards, and involvement in philanthropic endeavors including founding scholarships and endowments.

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit a duly authenticated copy of the resolution to A. Malachi Mixon III.
