Recognizes March 2011 as Women's History Month in Ohio through a resolution adopted by the 129th General Assembly.

Acknowledges the history of Women's History Month, which began as a week-long celebration in California in 1978 and was officially designated by Congress as National Women's History Month in 1987.

Recognizes American women's historic contributions to national progress across civil rights, labor, abolitionist, emancipation, and peace movements while noting their accomplishments have been consistently overlooked in American history.

Notes that despite progress toward gender equality, significant work remains before women achieve true parity in society.

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media.
