Amends section 742.63 of the Revised Code to expand the definition of "member" eligible for death benefits to include probation officers appointed by municipal court judges, juvenile judges, or common pleas court judges.

Probation officers appointed under sections 1901.33, 2151.13, or 2301.27 of the Revised Code are now eligible for death benefits when killed in the line of duty.

Also includes probation officers appointed by municipal court judges in the definition of members of retirement systems operated by municipal corporations.

Survivors of eligible probation officers killed in the line of duty receive the same death benefits as other public safety officers, including spouse and child benefits based on the officer's salary.

All other provisions of the Ohio Public Safety Officers Death Benefit Fund remain unchanged, including benefit amounts, payment schedules, and termination dates.
