Legislative Description

To revise the management of municipal school districts and community schools located within municipal school districts; to permit the establishment of a Municipal School District Transformation Alliance; to expand the offense of bribery to cover directors, officers, and employees of the Alliance; and to authorize municipal school districts to levy property taxes the revenue from which may be shared with partnering community schools.
