S.B. No. 361 Summary

• Prohibits any person from recklessly selling or manufacturing food or beverage containers that contain bisphenol-A (BPA)

• Prohibits reckless sale or manufacture of items intended for use in the mouth of children under three years old, including pacifiers and teethers

• Defines "food or beverage container" as any container intended to hold food or drink for human consumption, including both reusable and disposable containers

• Amends section 3715.52 of the Revised Code to add the new BPA prohibitions while maintaining existing provisions regarding adulterated or misbranded products and flea market sales restrictions
