Voids any indemnity agreement in motor carrier transportation contracts that would indemnify, defend, or hold harmless the receiving party from liability resulting from their own negligence or intentional acts or omissions.

Exempts uniform interchange and facilities access agreements administered by the Intermodal Association of North America and agreements involving interchange, use, or possession of intermodal chassis or equipment.

Defines "motor carrier transportation contract" to include transportation of property for compensation, entrance onto property for loading/unloading/transporting, and incidental services related to these activities.

Defines "promisee" as the person entering into the contract with a motor carrier, including their agents and employees, but excludes motor carriers who are parties to the contract and their respective agents and employees.

Establishes that such void indemnity agreements are against Ohio public policy.
