Amends Ohio Revised Code sections 3319.22 and 3319.223 and enacts new section 3319.227 to allow Teach for America participants to qualify for resident educator licenses.

Teach for America participants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, maintain a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5, pass a subject area examination, and successfully complete Teach for America's summer training institute.

Participants who have completed at least two years of teaching in another state as Teach for America members are credited with two years of completion toward the Ohio teacher residency program.

Teach for America must enter into agreements with accredited four-year institutions in Ohio to provide optional master's degree training for participants, though completion of a master's degree is not required for licensing.

Resident educator licenses issued under the new section are valid for four years and subject to the same renewal and progression requirements as other resident educator licenses.
