Urges the President to direct the Department of Energy to award USEC, Inc. a federal loan guarantee for its American Centrifuge Plant uranium enrichment project in Piketon, Ohio.

States the American Centrifuge Plant project is expected to create up to 8,000 jobs, with approximately 4,000 in Ohio, and supports energy security and climate change goals.

Urges the Secretary of Energy to provide federal funding assistance for the Southern Ohio Clean Energy Park Demonstration Project, which would evaluate the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant site in Piketon for a new nuclear power plant.

Notes the proposed Generation III+ nuclear reactor would create over 2,000 construction jobs with a $1.2 billion payroll over six years and add approximately 500 permanent jobs without carbon emissions.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the President, Secretary of Energy, Ohio Congressional delegation, Governor, Pike County Commissioners, and Ohio news media.
