Encourages local Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) in Ohio to incorporate training for agricultural emergencies and disasters into their training programs

Recognizes that CERT members provide critical support to first responders during emergencies by assisting victims and organizing volunteers at disaster sites

Notes that as urban areas expand into agricultural regions, CERT members need familiarity with responding to agricultural emergencies and disasters

Directs the Ohio Senate Clerk to send copies of the resolution to leaders of local Community Emergency Response Teams in Ohio and to Ohio news media
