Honors the memory of Dr. Frank W. Hale, Jr., who passed away, expressing the Ohio Senate's deepest sympathies to his family and friends

Recognizes Dr. Hale's 54-year career in higher education at Central State University, Oakwood College, Potomac University, Kenyon College, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and The Ohio State University

Acknowledges his founding of the Visitation Days and Minority Scholars programs at Ohio State University, establishment of the OSU MU Xi Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Mu Honorary Society, and the naming of the OSU Black Cultural Center in his honor

Notes his community service as a member of Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church, consultant for various organizations, and author of books and scholarly articles

Directs the Ohio Senate Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of this resolution to Dr. Hale's family, including his wife Mignon, three children, two stepchildren, and grandchildren
