Springboro High School is honored for being selected as a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education.

The school was one of only 18 Ohio schools chosen among 305 schools nationwide for the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognition.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes schools for excellence in teaching and instruction, student achievement, leadership, and parental involvement.

Principal Dr. Ron Malone and district superintendent Gene Lolli are recognized for their commitment to offering a well-balanced curriculum developing students' academic, emotional, social, and physical capabilities.

The Ohio Senate commends Springboro High School on earning National Blue Ribbon School status and extends best wishes for continued success.
