Highlights the work of regulators in combating consumer fraud through education on privacy protection, online safety, identity theft prevention, mortgage understanding, and scam avoidance.

Encourages Ohio citizens to participate in local National Consumer Protection Week events and become knowledgeable about their consumer rights and financial decision-making.

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media.
