Coldwater High School boys bowling team won the 2012 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championship, defeating Kenton Ridge in the final competition.

The resolution commends the team members for combining talent and competitive spirit with good sportsmanship and for their dedication to achieving proficiency in bowling.

Coach Rick Hartings is recognized for providing guidance and inspiration that helped develop each bowler's talents while instilling determination, perseverance, camaraderie, and school spirit.

The Ohio Senate adopted this resolution on March 26, 2012, to honor the team as representatives of Ohio's finest citizens.

The Clerk of the Senate was directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Coldwater High School boys bowling team.
