Honors Jerrie Mock for becoming the first female aviator to fly solo around the world, completing her 22,858-mile flight on April 17, 1964, at Port Columbus International Airport.

Recognizes Mock's single-engine Cessna "Spirit of Columbus" which is displayed at Dulles International Airport, and notes her plaque on the Aviation Wall of Fame in Tallahassee Regional Airport.

Notes Mock is a native of Newark and former resident of Bexley and Granville who remains relatively unknown in Ohio despite her historic achievement.

Acknowledges the Licking County Foundation's efforts to raise funds for a life-size bronze statue of Mock to be placed at The Works: Center for History, Art, and Technology in Newark.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Jerrie Mock.
