William Frautschy, a first-grade student at Dover East Elementary School, won the grand national, national, and state championship in handwriting and penmanship at the 2012 National Handwriting Contest sponsored by Zaner-Bloser Educational Publishers.

The Ohio Senate commends Frautschy for his dedication to developing superior penmanship skills and recognizes his accomplishments as a reflection of his work ethic and potential as a future leader.

The resolution salutes Frautschy as one of Ohio's finest young citizens and acknowledges the positive impact of his achievement on his family, teacher Barb Lengler, school, and community.

The Senate Clerk is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to William Frautschy.
