Corporal Nicholas Olivas, a 2010 graduate of Fairfield Senior High School, was killed in the line of duty while serving in Afghanistan with the 4th Brigade combat team, 82nd Airborne Division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The Ohio Senate extends condolences to Olivas's family, including his parents Adolfo and Marian, three sisters, wife Faith, and son Connor.
