Honors the Hoover High School softball team for winning the 2012 Division I State Championship with a 2-0 victory over Lebanon.

Team finished the season with a 30-3 record and earned their second consecutive state championship and sixth overall state title.

Recognizes Coach Jerry Goodpasture and his assistant coaches for providing guidance, inspiration, and developing the athletes' talents and character.

Commends the team members for demonstrating exceptional talent, competitive spirit, sportsmanship, determination, perseverance, and camaraderie.

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Hoover High School softball team.
