Honors Richard H. Bloedel on his retirement from the Ohio Legislative Service Commission after 39 years of service beginning in 1973.

Recognizes Bloedel's roles as senior research associate, principal research associate, supervisor of the Transportation Research Group, Senate Finance Committee staffer, and staff trainer at the Legislative Service Commission.

Notes Bloedel holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science, master of arts and doctorate degrees in history, a certificate in Chinese, and is a certified public accountant and author of "History of the Ohio Legislative Service Commission through 2007."

Commends Bloedel's dedication, creativity, and pursuit of excellence in service to the Ohio General Assembly and his commitment to public service.

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Richard H. Bloedel.
