H.B. 114 Summary

• Amends Ohio Revised Code section 4507.06 to specify which non-citizens are eligible to receive a driver's license or motorcycle operator's license or endorsement

• Non-citizens may obtain a license if they present documents establishing one of seven immigration statuses: lawful permanent or temporary resident status, conditional permanent resident status, approved or pending asylum, refugee status, valid nonimmigrant visa, pending or approved temporary protected status, or pending adjustment of status application

• Makes the same amendments to the version of section 4507.06 scheduled to take effect January 1, 2017, ensuring these eligibility requirements continue after that date
