Permits clinical nurse specialists, certified nurse-midwives, and certified nurse practitioners to admit patients to hospitals if they have a standard care arrangement with a collaborating doctor or podiatrist who is a member of the medical staff and the patient remains under that physician's or podiatrist's medical supervision.

Permits physician assistants to admit patients to hospitals if they are listed on a supervision agreement with a doctor or podiatrist who is a member of the hospital's medical staff and the patient remains under that physician's or podiatrist's medical supervision.

Requires advanced practice registered nurses and physician assistants to notify their collaborating or supervising physician or podiatrist prior to admitting a patient to a hospital.

Requires hospitals to grant admitting privileges and appropriate credentials to advanced practice registered nurses and physician assistants before they may admit patients.

Amends sections 3727.06, 4723.431, and 4730.09 of the Revised Code to establish these new admitting authority provisions.
