• Expands concealed handgun license reciprocity to recognize out-of-state licenses for Ohio residents and non-residents, including temporary recognition periods for new residents and visitors without formal reciprocity agreements

• Removes certain residency requirements for concealed handgun license applicants and allows non-resident employees to obtain licenses by applying to the county where they work

• Changes firearms training requirements from 12 hours to 8 hours minimum, allows online instruction components, and expands acceptable competency certifications beyond the National Rifle Association to include other gun advocacy organizations

• Permits licensed hunters to use suppressors on firearms while hunting, provided they are registered under federal law

• Transfers authority for creating and publishing application forms from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission to the Attorney General, and repeals sections 2923.1210 and 2923.22 of the Revised Code
