Adds division (B)(6) to section 3313.66 allowing school boards to adopt policies authorizing superintendents to expel students for up to 180 school days for actions posing imminent and severe endangerment to health and safety of other pupils or employees, even if not qualifying for permanent exclusion.

Requires superintendents to develop reinstatement conditions for expelled students under division (B)(6), including a psychological or psychiatric assessment to determine if the student poses danger to self or others, with costs split between district and family (or covered entirely by district if using district-employed professionals).

Establishes procedures for assessment of student rehabilitation at end of expulsion period, allowing reinstatement if rehabilitated or extension up to 90 additional school days if not, with no limit on number of extensions.

Requires districts adopting division (B)(6) policies to establish guidelines for appropriate reinstatement conditions and develop a list of alternative educational options for expelled students.

Mandates within 5 days of expulsion the superintendent develop a continued education plan for the expelled student, which may include alternative settings, home instruction, or enrollment in another school.
