Creates the Workers' Compensation and Medicaid Eligibility Study Committee consisting of 3 House members (2 majority, 1 minority), 3 Senate members (2 majority, 1 minority), the Administrator of Workers' Compensation, the Industrial Commission Chairperson or designee, and the Medicaid Director or designee

Committee members shall be appointed within 15 days of the bill's effective date, with legislative members serving through their current General Assembly term and until a successor is appointed

Committee members receive no compensation or reimbursement for expenses unless serving on the Committee is part of their employment duties

Committee must examine health care needs of workers' compensation claimants, including access to health care practitioners, insurance coverage, and Medicaid eligibility

Committee must submit a report to the Speaker and Senate President within 6 months of the effective date with policy recommendations to address gaps in health care coverage for workers' compensation claimants, and ceases to exist upon report submission
