HB 433 Summary

• Amends section 5164.01 of the Revised Code to add a definition of "dental services" referencing 42 C.F.R. 440.100 and adds a definition of "early and periodic screening, diagnostic, and treatment services" referencing the Social Security Act section 1905(r).

• Enacts new section 5164.09 requiring that benchmark coverage and benchmark equivalent coverage provided to individuals in the eligibility expansion group under the Affordable Care Act (Social Security Act section 1902(a)(10)(A)(i)(VIII)) shall include dental services.

• Renumbers existing definitions in section 5164.01 from (B) through (Q) to (C) through (R) to accommodate the new dental services definition.
