Amends section 2933.24 of the Revised Code to require search warrants to command officers to conduct searches within 10 days, notwithstanding Criminal Rule 41(C)(2).

Designates the 10-day search period as a substantive legal right, while leaving the manner of executing and returning warrants as procedural matters governed by Criminal Rule 41.

Requests that the Ohio Supreme Court amend Criminal Rule 41 to align with the new 10-day requirement for conducting searches under search warrants.

Effective date is July 1, 2015.
