HB 547 Summary

• Adds requirement that community schools annually evaluate teachers in compliance with sections 3319.11, 3319.111, and 3319.112 of the Revised Code as if the school were a school district.

• Removes language requiring schools receiving federal Race to the Top grant funds to comply with section 3319.111 regarding teacher evaluation, replacing it with the annual evaluation requirement for all community schools.

• Applies statewide teacher evaluation standards and procedures to community school classroom teachers regardless of grant funding status.
