Designates the last week of September as "American Indian Week" in Ohio, coinciding with "American Indian Day" on the fourth Saturday of September.

Recognizes the historical and cultural contributions of American Indians to Ohio, including ancient cultures (Adena, Hopewell, Fort Ancient) and historic tribes (Shawnee, Miami, Delaware, Potawatomi, Seneca, Wyandot, Peoria, Ottawa).

Acknowledges that many geographic features and cities in Ohio have Native American names and that American Indians continue to live, work, and raise families in the state.

Encourages American Indians to teach their culture and heritage to their children and share it with fellow Ohioans.

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to distribute copies of the resolution to Ohio news media.
