States that the United Mine Workers of America's 1974 pension plan, which covers more than 100,000 workers, is severely underfunded and on the brink of insolvency due to the 2008 financial crisis

Notes that insolvency of the pension plan would result in pension reductions for union members and harm the small businesses that depend on pensioner spending

Directs the Ohio House Clerk to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to the U.S. House Speaker, Senate President Pro Tempore, Ohio's congressional delegation, and Ohio news media
