Sydney Lofquist, a sophomore at Oakwood High School, won the 2013 Division II State Championship in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:01.03, setting a new state record.

Lofquist also placed second in the 500-yard freestyle event with a time of 4:54.11 at the Division II State Championship meet.

The House of Representatives commends Lofquist for her athletic achievement, dedication to swimming, and exemplary sportsmanship.

The Clerk of the House shall transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Sydney Lofquist.
