Notes that the UN International Labour Organization estimates 12.3 million people worldwide are currently exploited through slavery and human trafficking, with 600,000-800,000 trafficked annually across international borders

Estimates that 1,000 minors in Ohio are currently forced to sell sex, with over 2,000 others potentially at risk of trafficking, and identifies the average age of entry into commercial sex as 12-14 years old

References President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation (January 1, 1863) and the 13th Amendment (February 1, 1865) as historic events ending slavery in the United States

Directs the House Clerk to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media
