House Resolution honors William K. Weisenberg on his retirement as assistant executive director for public affairs, government relations, and diversity initiatives from the Ohio State Bar Association

Weisenberg served as director of government affairs with the Ohio State Bar Association beginning in 1979 and was named assistant executive director in 1999

Weisenberg held positions with the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, law firm Perrin and Loveland, Governor's Task Force on Corrections, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, Ohio Youth Commission, and Ohio House of Representatives

Weisenberg maintained active involvement with Columbus, Ohio State, and American bar associations and foundations, National Association of Bar Executives, National Center for State Courts, and other civic organizations

House directs the Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Weisenberg
