Recognizes July 27, 2014, as National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day in Ohio.

Acknowledges that the Korean War began June 25, 1950, when North Korea invaded South Korea, involving over 5.7 million American service members and resulting in 54,246 dead, 103,284 wounded, and 8,177 missing in action or prisoners of war.

Notes that a cease-fire agreement ending combat took effect on July 27, 1953, and that Congress designated July 27 as National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day in 1994.

Honors Korean War veterans for their sacrifice and service in defense of democratic ideals.

Urges all Ohioans to participate in the observance and directs the House Clerk to transmit copies to Ohio news media.
