Creates the Office of Regional Services and Accountability within the Department of Education

Office shall conduct a thorough review of the educational regional service system's structure and performance

Office shall outline a clear mission, establish operational and performance standards, and identify core services including high-quality educational opportunities, special education, professional development, and assistance with materials, technology, and transportation

Office shall define roles and responsibilities of regional service providers, monitor their performance, and establish a continuous review process to align the system with state education priorities

Office shall collaborate with the Ohio Board of Regents and other state agencies to coordinate regional outreach efforts, encourage cost savings and collaboration among school districts, and make legislative recommendations to improve the regional service system
