Amends Ohio Revised Code section 5.2250 to expand "Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week" to "Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Month" for the entire month of September.

Broadens the awareness purpose to include symptoms and management of mitochondrial disease, defining it as a diverse group of disorders affecting one or multiple organ systems due to mitochondrial dysfunction.

Adds educational detail that mitochondria are cellular structures responsible for producing energy needed for cellular performance.

Known as the "Corynna Strawser Act."
