OH SB324

Adds new provision to Ohio law allowing prosecution of rape (section 2907.02) or sexual battery (section 2907.03) violations when DNA analysis implicates an identified person, even after the normal statute of limitations would expire.

The extended prosecution period equals the otherwise applicable limitation period, measured from the date of DNA testing implication rather than from the date of the original offense.

Defines "DNA analysis" by reference to section 109.573 of the Revised Code.

Applies to identified persons implicated by DNA evidence in rape or sexual battery cases, removing the bar that would normally prevent prosecution due to expired statutes of limitations.
