Dean Murphy, a senior at Maysville High School, won first place in the boys high school division at the 2013 Ohio National Archery in the Schools Program Tournament with a score of 296 points, earning his second state title.

Murphy qualified for and competed in the national NASP tournament, placing thirteenth in his division and fourteenth overall.

The Ohio Senate commends Murphy for his dedication to archery, sportsmanship, and leadership both in and out of competition.

The Senate recognizes Murphy's accomplishments as a reflection of excellence on himself, his family, coaches, school, and community.

A copy of the resolution was transmitted to Dean Murphy by the Clerk of the Senate.
