Expresses condolences from the Ohio Senate for the death of Bernard Wayne Gibson and honors his memory and contributions to his community.

Recognizes Gibson's 20-year tenure as sheriff of Muskingum County beginning in 1976 and his prior work as a farrier.

Acknowledges Gibson's service as instructor for the Muskingum Area Technical College-Police Academy Criminal Justice Program and leadership roles in multiple law enforcement and community organizations.

Notes Gibson is survived by his wife Sandra, five children (Kimberly, Lynda, James, Dustin, and Jarred), seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Gibson's family.
