Honors Lloyd N. Barnes, a World War II fighter pilot who received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with six oak leaf clusters, and a Presidential Unit Citation during his combat service.

Recognizes his service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve from 1949 to 1964, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel, and his work as an administration liaison officer for the U.S. Air Force Academy from 1969 to 1994.

Commends his extensive volunteer work including service with the Pioneer and Historical Society of Muskingum County, mentoring at elementary schools, and involvement with Trinity Lutheran Church, Christ's Table, and various community organizations.

Notes his receipt of the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1994 and induction into the Muskingum County Veterans Hall of Fame in 2002.

Senate directs the Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of this resolution to Lloyd N. Barnes.
