• Urges reform to provide law-abiding, tax-paying immigrant workers and families with fair pathways to legal permanent residency and eventually U.S. citizenship.

• Requests immigration reform that reduces backlogs for family reunification, creates portable worker visas with constitutional protections, and provides educational opportunities for immigrant students.

• Advocates for federal action to make permanent the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, establish citizenship pathways for non-criminal immigrants, and promote civic integration through English and civics instruction.

• Directs the Ohio Senate Clerk to transmit the resolution to the President, Vice President, Congressional leadership, and Ohio's Congressional delegation.
