Requires each accountable care organization (ACO) operating in Ohio that participates in the federal shared savings program to establish a clinical laboratory testing advisory board.

Board must include individuals selected by the ACO and a representative designated by each clinical laboratory providing ongoing testing services to ACO professionals or participating hospitals, with representatives being physicians affiliated with the ACO.

Board shall recommend guidelines or protocols for clinical laboratory testing used in diagnosis and disease management, pathologist consultation on episodes of care, and appropriate use of clinical laboratory testing.

ACOs are not required to adopt any recommendations made by the advisory board.
