Authorizes issuance of dating violence protection orders for conduct directed at petitioners alleging dating violence, with court jurisdiction in domestic relations or juvenile divisions depending on respondent's age.

Defines "dating violence" as bodily injury, threats of force causing fear of imminent serious physical harm, stalking, or sexually oriented offenses committed by a person with whom the petitioner had an intimate relationship within the preceding twelve months.

Allows petitioners to seek ex parte and full protection orders with provisions to prohibit abuse, require counseling, restrict respondent's access to petitioner's residence/school/workplace, and protect companion animals.

Provides access to domestic violence shelters for dating violence victims and requires law enforcement agencies to provide information about available relief to potential petitioners.

Requires the Attorney General's victim's bill of rights pamphlet to include notice that petitioners alleging dating violence have the right to petition for civil protection orders.
