Authorizes courts to impose no-contact orders as part of sentences for felonies resulting in prison/local incarceration terms and misdemeanors resulting in jail terms.

No-contact orders prohibit offenders from having direct or indirect contact with persons specified by the court.

Orders remain in effect during the incarceration period and can extend through post-release supervision, post-release control, or other judicial supervision periods as specified by the court.

Applies to sentencing under sections 2929.13, 2929.14, 2929.22, 2929.24, and 2971.03 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Declared an emergency measure effective immediately to protect victims, witnesses, family members, and others from contact with offenders.
