Amends Ohio Revised Code section 959.04 to prohibit persons from killing or injuring cats or dogs that are trespassing on their property.

Maintains existing exemptions for killing or injuring other animals when preventing trespass or driving them away from premises.

Requires persons who kill or injure any animal under the exemption to pay damages within fifteen days, less actual damage caused by the trespassing animal, or deposit sufficient funds with a county or municipal court judge.

Court judge holds deposited funds in custody until damages are determined and remains responsible for safekeeping and payment of the deposit.

Repeals existing section 959.04 of the Revised Code in its entirety.
