• Requires the Ohio Government Telecommunications Service to broadcast live all General Assembly committee meetings with video and audio content.

• Defines "committee" and "meeting" according to section 101.15 of the Revised Code.

• Creates a legislative programming committee consisting of the senate president, house speaker, senate minority leader, house minority leader (or their designees), and senate and house clerks as nonvoting members, with authority to adopt operational rules.

• Prohibits use of telecommunications service for political purposes, campaign materials, or to influence elections, legislation, issues, judicial decisions, or state government policy.

• Names the legislation the Wire the Statehouse Act.
