Requires annual age-appropriate instruction in child sexual abuse prevention for grades kindergarten through six in all public school districts, community schools, and STEM schools, including information on available counseling and resources.

Mandates age-appropriate instruction in sexual violence prevention and dating violence prevention education for grades seven through twelve in all school types.

Requires all school employees (nurses, teachers, counselors, school psychologists, and administrators) to complete at least four hours of in-service training on child sexual abuse prevention within two years of employment, then every five years thereafter.

Allows parents or legal guardians to request and examine sexual violence prevention education materials used at their child's school within a reasonable period of time.

Permits students to be excused from personal safety and assault prevention instruction in grades kindergarten through six upon written parental request, except for child sexual abuse prevention instruction which is mandatory.
