Urges Congress and the U.S. Department of Energy to reverse the decision to terminate funding for the American Centrifuge Program at the plant in Piketon, Ohio, effective October 1, 2015

The U.S. Department of Energy invested $3 billion over 10 years to develop the American Centrifuge technology, which Centrus Energy Corporation has been deploying since 2002

Terminating funding will irreversibly impact future uranium enrichment capability, the specialized workforce, and communities in southern Ohio that already face high unemployment

The funding termination will result in the loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars in income tax and sales tax revenues to local communities in the Piketon area

Directs the House Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to Congress, the Department of Energy, Ohio's Congressional delegation, and Ohio news media
