Commends The University of Akron football team for winning the 2015 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl with a 23-21 victory over Utah State University.

Recognizes the team's 8-5 record and 8-win season as their first bowl victory and 8-win season since becoming a Division I program in 1987.

Praises Coach Terry Bowden and his assistants for providing guidance, inspiration, and instilling determination, perseverance, and camaraderie in the players.

Honors the players and coaches as exemplary athletes and fine citizens whose experience in sports will aid them in meeting future challenges.

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to The University of Akron football team.
