R.C. Waters Elementary School was named a 2015 National Title I Distinguished School by the National Title I Association, one of fifty-seven schools in the nation to receive this honor.

The National Title I Association recognizes schools for excellence in student performance and significantly closing achievement gaps.

The Ohio House of Representatives congratulates R.C. Waters Elementary School and commends its faculty, administration, and staff for providing educational opportunities and preparing students to become productive members of society.

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to R.C. Waters Elementary School.
